  • Does Plaza Las Americas Have Valet Parking?

    There are seven valet parking stations conveniently located throughout the mall, at the following entrances: Six of them operate during regular mall hours: FirstBank/Oriental P.F. Chang's South Parking Deck - Across from Macy's JCPenney Santander/Red Lobster 3rd Level - La Terraza Food Court One operates only on weekends: 2nd Level - Caribbean cinemas entrance (Thursdays to Saturdays from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM and Sundays from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM) Valet service fee - $7.00 tax inclusive 

  • Are Taxis readily available at Plaza Las Americas?

    The taxi stand is conveniently located at the mall's main entrance by The Cheesecake Factory and First Bank. They are available at all times during the mall’s operating hours.

  • Banks

    Conveniently located throughout the mall by the entrances. Our list of banks: Banco Popular, First Bank, and Oriental. 

  • Breastfeeding Lounge

    At Plaza Las Americas, mothers can breastfeed their babies in the common areas.

    For those who prefer their privacy, there are two breastfeeding lounges conveniently located at:

    • 1st Level across from the south restaurants women's restrooms.
    • 3rd Level across from La Terraza" Food Court women's restrooms. "

  • Wheelchairs

    Wheelchairs are available on a first come, first serve basis, at no cost. Wheelchairs may be picked up at the Customer Service Center located on the first level, Grand Court. 

  • Copies / Faxes

    Copies and facsimiles are processed at a reasonable cost in our Customer Service Center located on the first level, Grand Court.

  • Customer Service Center

    Our Customer Service personnel is available to provide you with general information about the mall, the stores, the services, and our activities. It is located on the first level, Grand Court. For more information call (787) 767-5202.

  • Gift Wrap

    Gift wrapping is available at a reasonable price on the first level in Sears.

  • Lost and Found

    Lost and found articles can be picked up or returned at the security office located on the third level, in “La Terraza” food court.

  • Passport Services

    You can benefit from this service at the State Department Office, located on the second level, by Sears Brand Store.

  • Photo Development

    Available at Walgreens on the first level, Sears corridor.

  • Pon de PLAZA Shuttle Bus

    Plaza Las Americas has an official vehicle that offers transportation to and from Hato Rey on weekdays between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM. It also provides transportation around PLAZA’s parking lot in the evenings for easy access to your vehicle after mall operating hours. 

  • Portrait Studios

    There are two portrait studios at the mall, one on JCPenney’s fourth floor and the other at Sears’ third floor.

  • US Postal Service Office

    Located on the 1st Level, North Parking Deck entrance, across from Banco Popular

  • Are there adult diaper changing stations at PLAZA?

    Plaza Las Americas offers adult changing stations in both family restrooms; conveniently located on the 1st Level South mall bathrooms; and on the 3rd Level in the "La Terraza" food court bathrooms.

  • Are there VRS services available for the deaf at PLAZA?

    Video Relay Service empowers deaf people to place VRS calls to anyone and have a conversation in real time, with the help of an ASL interpreter. Available on the 1st Level by the Customer Service Center at Grand Court.

  • Are pets allowed inside the mall?

    Plaza Las Américas has a policy not to allow the presence of animals inside the shopping center. Pets are only authorized if they are classified as service animals.

  • Who Owns Plaza Las Americas? Do they own other shopping centers?

    PLA Holdings, Inc., a private company from Puerto Rico, owns Plaza Las Américas. It also owns Plaza Del Caribe shopping center in Ponce, located in the southern region.

  • Can I find samples of Puerto Rican art in Plaza Las Americas?

    Patronizing the arts and the Puerto Rican artisans is a serious commitment for PLAZA’s management. Since its beginnings, PLAZA has set aside space inside the mall, dedicated solely to Puerto Rican arts. Currently, you can acquire some samples of Puerto Rican craftsmanship in the Ricardo Alegría Cultural Hall on the third level by JCPenney. There you will find art pieces by 30 Puerto Rican artisans, continuously offering a wide variety of Puerto Rican arts and crafts, including carvings, engravings, paintings, handcrafted jewelry, and ceramics, among other works of art.

    Walking through our corridors, you will see art medallions that symbolize different aspects of Puerto Rican culture. These unique art pieces where created by renowned local artists such as Myrna Báez, Nick Quijano, Martita Pérez-García, Antonio Martorell and Jo Schneider. They celebrate the beauty of Puerto Rico as well as its culture.

  • Does Plaza Las Americas have medical offices or services related to health?

    Plaza Las Americas has a 12-floor tower where you can find a variety of private offices, mainly doctors, specialists, laboratories and other health-related offices. To access The PLAZA Tower, use the elevators located on the first and third levels of the mall. Check the Shopping Center Directory for directions. Besides parking for free, using the medical services at The PLAZA Tower allows you to visit PLAZA for errands, relaxation, or a meal, all in one trip.

  • Are there any employment opportunities at Plaza Las Americas?

    With close to 300 stores, a 15-screen movie theater and more than 40 restaurants, Plaza Las Americas is an excellent place to look for a job. For employment opportunities, go to the job postings section.
