Children rarely stay the same size for long, and this height-adjustable kids desk is built with that in mind. A hand crank raises the desktop between 20 in and 28.8 in, and clear scales printed on the frame make it easy to return to a setting that works. Fixing knobs lock the position so the surface stays where you set it.The top tilts through 7 angle settings, moving from flat for handwriting to a steep slope for drawing, which keeps shoulders relaxed and eyes at a natural distance. A removable book stand lifts the overall height to 40.5 in and measures 12 in by 8.5 in, wide enough to hold an open storybook upright while both hands stay free.Underneath, a smooth drawer keeps pencils, erasers and paper out of sight, and the 32 in by 20.5 in footprint tucks into a bedroom corner without dominating the room. The desktop is rated for up to 176 lbs, so books, a lamp and art supplies can share the space. Burr-free edges, an easy-clean surface and a simple metal frame round out a desk that will follow a child from early crafts to school assignments.
