A cantilever umbrella that ships with its own weighted base: two sandbags fill with up to 220 lbs of sand to hold the 10-ft canopy steady on a deck or pool surround. The top connector uses a self-locking hinge that stops the canopy from swaying on the arm, and the housing is fully enclosed so rain cannot seep in and rust the joint. Tilt is stepless and the canopy turns a full circle once the handle lock is released, while a quiet crank raises and lowers the dyed polyester without the usual ratcheting noise. A fixing strap and loop strap pull the canopy down to 2.6 ft for winter storage.
