This 3-tier hanging vertical planter mounts two ways, so the same frame works whether there is a rail to hook over or only a flat surface to drill into. The retractable hanger extends and shortens to grip railings of different thicknesses, and it also hooks over a fence or a window ledge; when hanging is not an option, the supplied expansion bolts anchor the frame directly and the multiple fixing screws pull the joints tight. Adjusting the hanger changes overall height between 39 and 43 in, with the frame measuring 21.5 by 16.5 in across. The three planter boxes hold 18.5 by 6.5 by 6 in of soil each and carry up to 22 lbs, enough for a full box of herbs or trailing flowers, and they sit in a tiered arrangement so the boxes above never shade the ones below. Watering is handled from both directions. Multiple air vents plus 6 drainage holes clear excess water and keep the root zone breathing rather than waterlogged, while the removable tray underneath holds a reservoir that feeds the soil gradually and cuts down how often refilling is needed.
