Cats get two round holes cut clean through the panels of this 46-in cabinet, each one an enclosed perch inside the furniture rather than a box strapped to a pole. The staggered shelf heights form a route from floor to top, so a cat reaches 46-in in short hops instead of one launch. The cabinet runs only 12-in deep, which lets it sit flat against a hallway or bedroom wall, and the eight open and closed sections still take books and baskets. Each tier holds 22 lbs, and an anti-tipping device pins the 44-lb frame in place.
