Varnish rather than oil finishes this one, and the difference shows in wet weather - a sealed film sheds water instead of absorbing it, so the slats dry quickly after a shower. Acacia is stable through temperature swings, which is what keeps a 52 in seat from cupping between summer and winter. Dimensions are 52 x 13.5 x 17 in with a 700 lb rating and a net weight of 23.5 lbs. Backless construction lets it tuck fully under a dining table. Gaps between slats also let air through, discouraging mildew where the seat meets the frame.
