A 10000-BTU portable unit rated to cool 350 sq ft of floor area, running three jobs from one cabinet: air conditioner, fan, and dehumidifier. Rated at 6000 BTU on the SACC scale, it removes up to 50 pints of moisture per day and moves 330 cubic meters of air per hour, which is what makes the dehumidifier mode useful on its own during humid weather that is not quite hot. Four modes and two wind speeds set how it runs, and the temperature dials between 60.8 and 89.6 degrees Fahrenheit. Sleep mode drops the noise, and with a ceiling of 65 dB and a 24-hour timer the unit can be left running overnight and shut itself off before morning. Air direction is handled at the louver, which swings 70 degrees up and down, 30 degrees to the right, and 20 degrees to the left, and a manual oscillating function sweeps the output wide instead of aiming it at one chair. A removable washable filter screen catches dust and rinses clean under a tap. Auto defrosting and a self-evaporating system cut how often collected water has to be dealt with, and the unit shuts off by itself when the tank is full. Control is by remote or the smart touch panel on top. The cabinet is ABS, measures 12.5 by 12 by 27.5 in, weighs 45 lbs, and runs on 115V 60Hz through a 6-ft cord.
