Double-layer silver-coated polyester gives this beach shelter a rated UPF50+ block on 98 percent of ultraviolet light, and the fabric stays opaque enough that the interior reads as shade rather than filtered glare. Floor space runs 87 in by 59 in with 59 in of headroom, sized for 3 to 4 people, and the canopy extends past the front wall onto a sewn-in floor panel that keeps sand off towels and bags. Two double-layer mesh windows and double zippered doors open for cross ventilation and a clear look at the water. The frame uses 8.5 mm thick fiberglass poles, and 10 ground stakes with 6 wind ropes anchor it on loose sand. Packed weight is 6 lbs in the included carry bag, so it rides on a shoulder alongside chairs.
