Tabletop scale is the whole point of this pyramid heater: at 35 inches tall on a 10 inch square base it sits on a patio table and warms the people around it rather than the entire yard. The 9500 BTU burner feeds a glass flame tube that radiates in a 360 degree pattern over roughly 4.5 sq ft. Lighting takes three steps, holding the control knob at pilot for two minutes to purge the gas line, pressing the igniter, then holding another three seconds before dialing the flame from high to low. One AA battery runs the igniter and is not included. The steel body weighs 11 lbs and burns a 1.02 lb propane canister, also sold separately. Tip-over and flameout protection are built in.
