Small rooms drove this design. Fold the armrests up 90 degrees and the chair rolls right under a desktop, reclaiming the walkway in a bedroom office. The 19.5 inch backrest carries an S-shaped curve with built-in lumbar support, and mesh across it keeps the shirt from sticking during a long call. Underneath, a generously padded sponge cushion spreads pressure across a 19 inch square seat. Height moves between 18 and 21 inches on a gas lift, and the base rolls on casters. Plywood reinforcement inside the seat plus a metal frame carry 330 lbs. Total dimensions are 25 by 25 inches with an overall height of 36 to 39 inches, and at 21 lbs the chair is easy to lift onto a landing during assembly.
