The desk here is a separate 38.5 x 15 in unit at 29.5 in high rather than a fixed panel, with bookshelves stacked beside it at 11.5, 11.5 and 13 in between levels - so the workspace can be arranged to suit the room instead of following the bed. Load ratings run 176 lbs on the desk, 88 lbs per bookshelf and 200 lbs on both the bed and the ladder. Plywood slats do away with a box spring entirely. Guardrails stand 12 in and the frame measures 79.5 x 61.5 x 67.5 in. Solid wood in gray, 126.5 lbs, two cartons. Use a mattress 6 in or thinner.
