This queen upholstered platform bed frame carries a headboard that rises 12 in above the sleeping deck, high enough that pillows stay put instead of dropping into the gap behind the mattress. Twelve plywood slats plus added support legs give the queen frame an 800-lb rating, and the recessed deck traps the mattress edge so it will not creep toward the footboard. The padded surface pairs faux linen fabric with high-density sponge. A 10-in to 12-in mattress rests straight on the slats with no box spring, and 6 in of clearance stays open below for floor cleaning. Assembly is required.
