Two boxes hold 48 wood grain planks, each measuring 36 in by 6 in, together finishing a 72-sq ft coverable area in rustic brown. The 3D grain is printed into a decorative film layer rather than stamped on the surface, which is why it gives a room a fresh look that survives traffic instead of wearing off in the walkways. Above that film sits a wear-resistant PVC layer and a UV coating; below it sits a base layer. That four-part construction is what delivers scratch resistance and keeps the flame-retardant material serviceable for long term use. The top face is waterproof, so a spill sits on the surface and lifts away with a cloth rather than seeping into a seam. There is also a cushioning layer built in, and it does double duty as soundproofing and vibration damping, taking the hard edge off footsteps that a bare subfloor would amplify. Where the planks end up going is left open. A 1/3 step pattern, an offset pattern and a herringbone pattern can each be laid from the same shipment, and installation is nail-free across different surfaces. Materials are free from harmful emissions, which is worth knowing before covering an entire room.
