Two tables that are built to work as a pair without being a matched pair. The larger one is a rectangle measuring 31.5 in x 18 in x 16 in, sitting at normal coffee table height with a mesh lower shelf running the full 31.5 in x 18 in footprint and 9.5 in of spacing above it. Mesh rather than a solid board is a real difference here: the perforated surface keeps dust from collecting into a flat layer, lets a lamp cord or charging cable drop straight through, and stops the lower level reading as a heavy closed box under the top. The second piece is a round side end table, 20.5 in x 20 in x 22 in, so it stands six inches taller than the coffee table and slides up beside an armrest rather than in front of the seat. Its lower level is a semicircular shelf, shaped to follow the round top instead of squaring it off. Because the two pieces are different heights and different shapes, they combine freely: side by side as a stepped pair, at opposite ends of a sofa, or in separate parts of the room entirely. Structurally both stand on a solid metal foundation, which is what allows the rectangle top to be rated for 100 lbs while the whole set weighs only 29.5 lbs in total. Protective foot pads under every leg avoid scratching the floor, both surfaces are smooth and easy to maintain, and 4.5 in of ground clearance leaves room to clean beneath.
