A dark brown finish forgives the ring marks and scuffs a living room table collects, which is why this pair works at both ends of a sofa rather than only beside a bed. Each table runs 23.5-in long and 24-in tall, matching most couch arms so a drink sits level with the cushion. A retro pull opens a drawer for coasters and remotes at 4.5 lbs, the tier below stacks 17.6 lbs of magazines, and the top handles 33 lbs of lamp and glassware. Particle board and MDF with metal hardware give each 28.93-lb table its weight.
