Eight LED bulb lights are strung along the roofline of this white twin house bed, which changes what the frame is after dark: a warm, low glow instead of an overhead light, and a reason for a child to want to be in it. Two open windows are cut into the sides, each 15 by 11 in, and they do the job a solid panel cannot, because a child can look out, be looked in on, and play hide and seek through them. The doorway is 16 in wide. What separates this frame from most house beds is that it is slat-free. There is no slatted platform to sit on, so a mattress rests inside the 76 by 39 in interior area at genuine floor level, which is as low as a bed gets and the whole reason a floor bed makes the move to independent sleep easier: there is nothing to climb, nothing to fall from, and a child gets in and out entirely unaided.
