To remove the lid after baking, allow the pan to cool enough to handle. Hold the pan so that the curled edge of the lid is facing you. With the palm of your opposite hand, gently tap the curled edge to slide the cover away from you.
To replace, align the curled edge of the lid with the top of the pan and slide it on. Make sure it clicks into place using the small indentation on the lid—this ensures the cover stays secure during baking.
