Here, we did exactly that: cutting a wide-leg shape with utility pockets, using 100% cotton Bedford corduroy—prized for its softness and less prominent wales. Use the snaps at the hem to convert to a barrel-leg shape. Mid-Rise Barrel: Mid Rise. Fitted waist and relaxed hip, straight through thigh with a wide leg. Ankle length.
